I called Samsung and the representative told me to buy the microSD card. So, I did, but it does not do me any good. I am still stuck with less than 2 mb of storage. Why would they even sell a phone with such low storage. I am very disappointed and may have t return the phone just for more memory. As thousands of other users, I also have the same problem and it is totally NOY aceptable. I do not care if this is Google's fault, or Samsung's fault.
It is not acceptable. Your right. When I bought the tablet I was told by Samsung that I could expanded the memory with sd card and now I can't even move most stuff to sd. First and last time I buy Samsung. Rather get a older ipad again. It must be a newer update that disabled it because there are youtube videos of people doing it with previous software versions of this same tablet.
Please fix immediately. This not a solution. It's simply not true. The look of android is different with less options. And this seems to be a well known issue now. Can please update on the progress? I am somewhat bewildered by the response being classified as a solution, it is a statement and is misleading, as opposed to being helpful, suggesting that certain apps may be transferred when in reality it appears that the OS has removed that option.
My family and I make extensive usage of Samsung products and I have have not had any complaints until now. The purpose of buying an Android is to allow for extendable memory coupled with the sale of devices carrying lower internal memory. To provide for sale a tablet that does not allow for the usage of external memory is outside the market expectation and seriously undermines the product and goodwill Samsung enjoy.
