So far, they have not been succesful, since in most cases they could only partially download a patch file before failing. When the download fails, the incomplete file is deleted and has to start back from zero. Let it download until you get the Launcher Error message. Delete the. Major kudos to everyone posting fixes but this does not absolve Square Enix of the responsibility fix their launcher or at least provide an alternate method of downloading the patch files.
